Strengths: I feel in working with many therapists, in the areas of OT, speech, ABA, successfully following diet, and other biomedical intervention that I am qualified to discern good therapists vs. bad, and the same is true in all the disciplines we are working in and trying.
Why I became a
Rescue Angel:
Embracing my son's autism has been a very long journey of faith. I did it with the help of a Rescue Angel. It is now my turn to give back. We leave no stone unturned, and consider our son recovering, not suffering from Autism. He is making a lot of progress. We are hopeful he will fully recover, and will live a full life. I want to share that hope with other parents.
Child's Symptoms: Perseverate Behavior, Oppositional Behavior, Language Delay, Limited Memory Recall, Lack of Flexibility, Doesn't understand Abstract
Helpful Therapies: GFCF Diet, Supplements, Craniosacral therapy, Chelation, B12 shots, ABA therapy,

Strengths: Talking to parents and letting them know it is okay. It is not their fault but you can do something about it. I am knowledgeable regarding OT and speech. I am just learning all about the diet and supplements.
Why I became a
Rescue Angel:
Because this is real, there is hope. You just have to keep knocking down the wall. Everyone responds different so you have to keep trying. It can get better.

Why I became a
Rescue Angel:
To share the knowledge I have gained along the way. To inform parents that they have treatment options. Supporting the parents new to biomedical intervention is crucial. I found it overwhelming and wish that I had the support of someone who has been down this path.
Child's Symptoms: Non-verbal, no eye contact, did not respond to name, tantrums
Helpful Therapies: Biomedical: Methyl B12 injections, Nystatin, GFCF diet, singulair, Vit A, B6, C, D, E, B-complex, zinc, taurine, melatonin, magnesium, calcium, probiotics, cod liver oil, flax oil, super nu thera, digestive enzymes, DMG, CoQ10, Enhansa, glutathione cream, LDN cream, folinic acid. She is also nut free because she has a peanut allergy. We've chelated with DMSA and EDTA. She dumped tons of aluminum, antimony, lead, cadmium and nickel. We have purchased a mHBOT that should arrive any day now. Other therapies: Speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy in school

Strengths: My strengths are in biomdedical treatment. My child just started school but I am working on becoming an IEP expert!
Why I became a
Rescue Angel:
To help others and give them hope. Its a lot of information to take in at once. It would be nice if I can give people a short list to accomplish and tell them to call back in a few months or how ever long it takes to get thru the list. For example say start the diet by making GFCF breakfast, add cod liver oil, call Bto3, that would be step 1.
Child's Symptoms: All of them! Loss of speech, hand and arm flapping, gut issues, no eye contact, rashes, night walking, towe walking, etc.
Helpful Therapies: GF/CF Diet, biomedical treatment, and it is possible that AIT worked (still working on this)
