|
| Strengths: |
I've never really thought about it, but I guess it would be, teaching other parents ways of working with their child & I say that because there have been several parents that have wanted me to be their child's one-on-one therapist, but I explained that I couldn't because I home school my son. |
Why I became a
Rescue Angel: |
To help other families with information that was not made available to me when my son was diagnosed, so that they don't feel so alone on their mission to help their child. I too did the "Google" search for "Characteristics Of Autism" to learn about what I thought my son may have & in the process learned how to start helping my son even before his official diagnosis, which his scheduled appt. with the neurologist wasn't until 2 months later. Also, I'm already helping families in my surrounding counties with info. & resources to help get them started, so that they are not as overwhelmed as I was. |
