When Colin was diagnosed, the doctors gave us the feeling that their was no hope for our baby, since the interventions we have started he has made significant improvements. I want to share with parents that their is hope out their for their child. You need to stay positive. I also want people to know that recovery is possible. Many of the doctors we took Colin to said the diet and supplements would not work. Parents should be given all their options and make decisions on their own without a doctor who does not know anything about the interventions giving negative feedback on it. The doctors Colin first saw wanted us to give him mind altering drugs to calm him down. To me this was just a band aid solution for the present with no hope for getting him better for life down the road. |
