Hydration - Step 3 of "The Wagner Way to Wellness"

If someone’s energy level is down to around 30%, then they are not healthy and their body systems are not functioning well. In today’s society it would be hard to find someone who says they are at 100% of the energy they think they should have. It is probably even difficult to find people at 80%. Most people are going to say they are somewhere between 25% and 75%.


In this article I will cover why you need water, how much you should consume, what type of water is best, how you should take it and its many benefits. I will also cover the many pit falls if you do not consume enough water, especially on a regular basis.

Primarily Water

Water in our body is very important to our energy level and our overall health. Our bodies are made of mostly water. If you do not consume enough water you can’t flush the poisons, toxins, fatty tissue, excess sugar, uric acid, lymphatic waste, have good skin, hair, nails, or good bowel movements. What happens when a river bed dries up? It cakes and cracks. So what happens as we age; we cake, crack, and get lots of wrinkles.  We also turn gray long before we should.

Need to be Watered

Everything on this plant needs to be watered. Look at a flower, if you don’t water it, it turns color, shrivels up & dies. Well we are a flower that needs to be watered too. If we don’t receive enough water we will also turn gray, get wrinkles and become like a dried up prune. If you start to water a flower, plant or grass it become full of life. If you start consuming enough water, you too will become full of life, so there is hope. You reduce wrinkles, gain back your color and radiate good health and have much better bowel movements.

 

Also, the older we get, the more important water becomes. As we age, our bodies not only get more acidic, but also tend to dry out more. It is said that 80% of old age symptoms are from dehydration. We are all going to get old, but we don’t have to get there so darn fast.  We can slow down the clock.

What Is Enough?

 Are you getting enough? The average person today does not drink enough water. You should be drinking 1 gallon (4 liters or 4 quarts or 128 ounces) per day on average under normal conditions. I believe it should actually be an ounce per body pound. But I have found that a gallon will suffice. When we talk about drinking water, we mean drinking water, NOT tea, NOT soda, NOT coffee, NOT fruit juices. Just high quality purified drinking water. Other liquids do not count as part of your water intake. In fact, for every cup of coffee or tea (they actually dehydrate you) and every glass of carbonated or alcoholic drink, you should ADD an extra glass of water to help flush out what is in those drinks and rehydrate your body.

Meals and Enzymes

Water is even more important if you are dieting and also before you eat meals. Drinking water BEFORE eating is usually not advised except when you are taking a digestive enzyme complex. If you are using enzymes be sure to take a full spectrum enzyme complex in order to digest all food groups.  Consuming enzymes before meals with water is preferable and really helps the digestive system. Drinking during your meals waters down the digestive juices and inhibits proper digestion.

Start Slowly

Don’t try to drink a gallon immediately otherwise you will be living in the bathroom. This is because the water is running into your muck. Most people have not cleansed and also don’t eliminate sufficiently or as often as they should. So they have accumulated much waste and the water is trying to help eliminate these roadblocks. So start gradually and let your body acclimate. Allowing your body to adjust will minimize your visits to the restroom. But do know you should urinate about 8 times a day. About every two hours is proper. Water in and poisons out. It is a constant hydration and elimination. This way you will not store up poisons and toxins and pollute your body.

Get a visual of a gallon of water and then add a glass every couple of days until you reach the gallon. Then be consistent. Remember consistency is the key. Whoever is the most consistent and persistent in anything will have the most success.  

Energy – The Life Force

If your body is not hydrated, then you don’t have the proper balance of water in your body. Drinking lots of water over a period of time is going to hydrate the body correctly so you can start to build your energy level back up to its proper potential. When you drink water and it gets absorbed into your body the water becomes like an electrolyte solution. The major part of your blood, the river of life that flows through you, is salty water. Therefore, since our bodies are an electrolyte salty solution, it is a good idea to incorporate ionic minerals with electrolytes and Celtic sea salt or Himalayan salt (the only complete salts that have all of its natural minerals which the body needs). So, correct hydration helps ensure that the energy is going to flow to all parts of your body properly. If your body runs out of water, you can run out of energy, also known as your life force. Water is the carrier of life force or the source of the life force or spark of life. All life is dependent upon it.

Therapeutic Effect

Understanding water and the energy it contains will go a long way when it comes to improving your health. Many resorts and health spas revolve around mineral springs, particularly hot springs because of its therapeutic effect. Even Western medicine uses water to apply wet heat to help relieve pain and improve circulation and relaxation, or a wet cold cloth to decrease body temperature and reduce blood flow for high fevers and swelling in strains, bruises and sprains.

There is no longer any doubt that when the life force or energy of the body becomes low, the body becomes unhealthy. Many researchers over the years have tried to duplicate the natural properties of water, but something is always missing. Call it chi, biochemistry, energy or life force, it can’t be duplicated.

Technology

Advancement in technology now allows us to measure energy levels in the body. Bioelectricity (life force) is present in ALL living things and can be measured. All you need is a multi-meter to measure amps. Water contains bioelectricity and in its natural form should be considered to be something that is alive. The vital role water plays in its contribution to life is tremendous by anyone’s standards. Water is not ONE of the most amazing substances on earth; it is THE most amazing substance of all!

Alive and Well

If you were feeling low on energy and you were to jump into a pool of stagnant or dead water, you would not come out feeling very refreshed. If you jumped into an unpolluted mountain stream, you would feel refreshed, because the healthy, living mountain stream water actually gives you some of its energy.

So, the next time you look at water, whether it is to drink, or to bathe or swim, look at it as a source of energy. Remember, the healthier your body is, the more energy it can take from the water. The more hydrated your body is, the more it allows energy to flow to all the different areas of your body, flush out of poisons and toxins, remove fatty tissue, promote healthy skin, hair, nails, stimulate good bowel movements and help you achieve total body wellness and feel “20 Forever”.

Food For Thought: Water or Coke


We all know that water is important, but you’ve never seen it written down like this before.

WATER


1. 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. (This probably applies to half of the world’s population).

2. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it’s often mistaken for hunger.

3. Even mild dehydration will slow down a person’s metabolism by as much as 3%.

4. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University of Washington study.

5. The #1 trigger of daytime fatigue is lack of water.

6. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers.

7. A mere 2% drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page.

8. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45%, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79% and one is 50% less likely to develop bladder cancer.

9. Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day?

COKE


1. In many U.S. states, the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the truck if it is necessary to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.

2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of Coke and it will be gone in two days.

3. To clean a toilet, pour a can of Coke into the toilet bowl and let the “real thing” sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.

4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers, rub the bumper with a rumpled up piece of aluminum foil dipped in Coke.

5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals, pour a can of Coke over the terminals to bubble away corrosion.

6. To loosen a rusted bolt, apply a cloth soaked in Coke to the rusted bolt for several minutes.

7. To remove grease from clothes, empty a can of Coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent and run through a regular cycle. The Coke will help loosen grease stains.

8. Coke can clean road haze from your windshield.

FYI


The active ingredient in Coke has a pH of 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days and will leach calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis.

The distributors of Coke have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years!
