Stan's Ear Infection Remedy
Background:
Ear infections are more commonly caused by fungal and viral infections than bacterial infections. Very often, treatment with antibiotics (a fungus) is not effective and has the risk of significant long term side effects. Even the standard practice of medical doctors has changed because of studies that show antibiotics are not reducing the length of an ear infection. Additionally, studies have shown that antibiotics dysregulate the immune system and lengthen the time mercury and other toxins stay in the body. Antibiotics also raise the risk of further fungal infections and bad bacteria growing in the intestinal tract.
I am not a doctor, but my common sense says not to treat ear infections by putting fungus in the gut.
In 2006, the school I owned had 40 cases of ear infections being treated by antibiotics. The following year this number was reduced to only one. The way we were able to lessen the use of antibiotics was to educate teachers and parents on how to care for their child’s ears, especially when ear infection symptoms arise. This is the process that we used:
What’s needed:
Liquid Garlic
Colloidal Silver
Salt
A hair dryer
Rubbing Alcohol
A dropper (like what you would use for sublingual, under the tongue, liquid vitamins)
Q-Tips
Cotton balls or tissue
Steps:
When there are symptoms of an infection...
- Carefully try to remove any excess ear wax with a Q-tip.
- Put some drops of Liquid Garlic in some Colloidal Silver (enough to fill both ear canals) and add a pinch of salt. Shake it up.
- Put drops of it in the ear using a dropper.
- Rub behind the ear to get the liquid down into the ear canal for about a minute.
- Turn the individual over and get the liquid out.
- Dry the ear with a tissue, cotton ball, or (carefully) with Q-tips as best as you can.
- Carefully use a blow dryer (on warm) to get the ear canal completely dry. Put your hand near the ear during the process so you know how warm the ear is getting.
- Optional: The hair dryer works the best, but some sensory kids can not stand the noise of a hair dryer, so some parents use rubbing alcohol. If this is the case, put a few drops of rubbing alcohol in the ear afterwards to help completely dry the ear.
Secondary methods:
- Large amounts of probiotics to help balance the body’s fungal levels
- Methyl B12 to help combat the possibility of a viral infection
- Juicing fruit or vegetables so the digestive tract can better balance itself
- Epsom Salt Baths (1/2 cup of Epsom salts in the tub)
Preventative methods:
- Probiotics every day
- Managing ear wax every day with q-tips (carefully)
- Using a blow dryer to finish drying the ears after every bath or shower
